Ipsen has proven himself an energetic, dedicated, and effective statewide leader in protecting public safety. Recently, Steve joined Governor Schwarzenegger and others in Law Enforcement in campaigning for the passage of Jessica's Law Prop. 83 last November. Ipsen was asked to be one of 5 signators to join Governor Schwarzenegger on the Statewide Jessica's Law Ballot.

A criminal prosecutor for over two decades, Steve been a great friend of Victim's Rights organizations and serves as an advisory board member for Justice for Homicide Victims, Crime Victim's United, Justice for Murdered Children and Crime Survivors. He served as California State Bar Vice President, and has been elected to five consecutive terms by Los Angeles Prosecutors as President of the Association of Deputy District Attorneys. Criminal Prosecutors and crime victim advocates that know Ipsen well and endorse his Campaign for District Attorney will join us in supporting Steve Ipsen.
